Want to know the quickest way to ruin a good website? Poor quality or amateurish photos! The most beautifully designed website in the world can easily be ruined by poor quality shots. It doesn’t matter how talented your designer is or how much work they put into creating your site. If your photos aren’t up to scratch then the overall quality of your site is going to suffer.

My work featured in CSS Mania’s top 10 websites

A website I recently completed for Brian Ray, Whooray Records, was featured on CSS Mania in July. CSS Mania is web design gallery that showcases CSS based web designs from all over the world. It’s a site that I check regularly for inspiration and to see what design trends are popular, and being featured on a site I admire so much feels like a huge achievement.

Whooray Records website launched

I’ve just launched the all-new, redesigned Whooray Records website!

The website acts as an online press kit for Los Angeles based rock musician, Brian Ray. Since it’s aimed at press/PR people rather than fans, the content needed to be a little more formal that his main website, but we wanted to give it a slightly grungy, indie style to reflect Brian’s personality and music style.
